Full-grain is the toughest and most characterful. It scuffs, patinas and gets better with age. Lambskin is lighter and softer with a finer hand, ideal for tailored and cropped fits. Are OX & Armor jackets made from real leather?

Yes. Every jacket is cut from genuine full-grain, lambskin, suede or nubuck hide. We never use bonded, PU or "genuine leather" grade offcuts.

What is the difference between full-grain and lambskin?

Full-grain is the outermost layer of the hide, dense and hard-wearing, and it develops a patina over time. Lambskin is lighter, softer and drapes more like fabric, which makes it ideal for tailored blazers and cropped styles.

Can a leather jacket be worn in the rain?

Full-grain and lambskin handle light British drizzle without issue; just let the jacket dry naturally away from direct heat. Suede and nubuck need more care, and our Leather Care guide covers protecting and reviving them.

How do I know my size?

Measure a jacket you already own and compare it against the style-by-style measurements in our Size Guide. Leather softens and moulds to you, so a snug first fit is normal.
